Christmas at Disney December 2009

What a magical time it was spending our anniversary and Christmas family vacation at Disney this past December. Grandma and Grandpa came with us and made it an extra special time celebrating together the Christmas holiday and 6 years of marriage for Joe and I.
Wyatt absolutely loved going on all the rides especially the Race Car Speedway at the Magic Kingdom and Soarin' at EPCOT. What a wonderful ride that all of us could enjoy. We are grateful to have the chance to get away and be together. Next time we come we'll have an extra bundle of joy to celebrate with!

We're Having a Baby Boy!

As many of you know already, we decided to find out what we were having for many reasons and we are excited to announce that Wyatt will have a new baby brother in early Spring, April 6th is our estimated due date.

It was such a surprise and overwhelming feeling to find out God has chosen us to be parents of another little boy that we pray will become a vibrant man of God. It is humbling to know that God would entrust the upbringing of any child to us but to give us another son, we know that God has great plans for these Bare Boys.

We went in on Monday October 26 for the ultrasound, OB visit and quad screen. All looked great for our little man, his weight is 7oz. all vitals were found and measured successfully. And on top of that, my blood work came back fine, no signs of developmental abnormalities such as Downs, Trisomy and Neural Tube defects. Praise the Lord!

Our baby is approximately 17 weeks 4 days old as of today. And we are so looking forward to meeting him in 5 months.

We so appreciate your prayers for this little one and are now on the hunt for the right name. We're close but still have yet to nail down a first name. I am excited about a possible middle name, I have been really focused on one prophet's name of old. We'll be holding out until the birth for it to be a surprise on that day.

More to come soon.....

Week 15 Baby Bare is Doing Well!

We are so excited that baby has been doing well. We have just completed our 15th week and everything seems to be going normal. I on the other hand have been a bit neurotic and been waiting anxiously for "quickening" to start. Wyatt is getting to be such a big boy, we're working on potty training and I am praying that he gets it by the time the baby is here. We're excited about the holidays coming and our Christmas vacation to Disney World as well as spending time at Christmas in NC. We've been so blessed with our new house and are so enjoying spending quiet evenings together as a family playing in the living room with Wyatt. I'm looking forward to the beginning of construction on our new laundry room as we have been without one since we've moved in.

Our Baby at 11 Weeks

Our precious new one growing and bouncing plenty. We had our 11 weeks ultrasound this Monday and everything looks good so far. We are praying everyday that this little one is healthy and strong. We can't wait to see more of our new Bare addition.

Wyatt's 3rd Birthday Party

What a fabulous time with precious family and friends we had for Wyatt's 3rd birthday party. It was so much fun and everyone was happy and celebrating. We are so immeasurably blessed by all who came and thank you all for spending the Saturday with Wyatt and us. As you can see Wyatt loved having all his friends around and they all loved on him so much. It was a Playhouse Disney theme with many colors and balloons. The day started off wet but soon cleared up and was sunny and warm. The kids played on all the slip and slide toys and Wyatt's riding toys. The boys had a blast riding around the yard. It was our first official gathering at our new house for friends and it was a wonderful success. We are so blessed to have Wyatt as our son and we can't wait to see what God has in store for him in the year to come. To include a new baby sibling.

Our Easter Celebration Together

This Easter was so special as it was our first in our new home on Dogwood Way. We have settled into our new house and love the beautiful memories being made inside and out. We especially love our porch and front yard. It is coming together and becoming a place to enjoy God's creation and beauty with plenty of birds singing, windchimes tinkling, and our precious son Wyatt running through the yard with our dog Sadie. We love the location to every where we regular visit. Our church FBC Naples is only 5 minutes away, friends are close by and we are loving the convenience of where we live.

As for Easter, we had a wonderful time with family and friends as we had a blessing by our old neighbors the Lebels come and share in the special time. We sat our on the veranda eat and searched for Easter eggs and had a wonderful time. Grandma Papa and Papa Bobby were there. It was our first offical gathering at our new house and I loved the opportunity to use all the special dishes and china we've collected through the years. Wyatt loved looking for the colorful eggs filled with goodies and "his money" as he calls it. We took family pictures and now have an updated picture for our family portrait on the wall.

We praise God for his overflowing grace and blessing upon our little family. We are so blessed by having each other, having a new home of our own and the love and support of family and friends. God is so good!

A Day at the Beach

We've loved spending time at the Naples beach watching sunsets, collecting shells and just relaxing in the warm Florida sun and sand. Wyatt is a sold out fan of the beach and would go everyday if we'd let him. As the weather gets warmer, the beach is more of a day spent in the Mojave desert then a refreshing time together. We visit rarely during the summer

Our North Carolina Visit

We're currently in NC with our Bare family and having a good time visiting with everyone. We spent the day with our little grand nephew Logan for his 2nd birthday. Wyatt loved playing with him and had a hard time leaving as he tried hard to convince us to "leave me here and pick me up later." He loves playing with other children and Logan was no exception. This past week we've spent time with Joe's Mom and Dad as well as Joe having some work to do at his sister Tina's house. We are scheduled to return home at the end of this week. Here's just a few pictures of our time here....
